Name: First Home Club Program |
| Purpose:
To
provide low income renters with housing counseling and savings incentive
assistance. The first home club is a special set-aside of Affordable
Housing Program funds. |
| Eligible
Applicants: FHLB member banks and member credit unions. Non profit
CDC's partner with member financial institutions to operate a first home
club program. |
| Eligible
Activites: Non profit administers housing counseling training services.
FHLB matches savings of up to 25 participant households in each program
on a 3 to 1 basis, up to $5,000. |
