Program Name: Community Facilities Loans and Grants

 
Purpose: To construct, enlarge, extend or otherwise improve community facilities providing essential services to rural residents.

 
Eligible Applicants: City, county, and state agencies; indian tribes; private non profit corporations; and political or quasi-political subdivisions of states serving areas with populations under 50,000 for loans, and under 25,000 for grants.

 
Eligible Activites:  Rural health clinics, fire fighting facilities and equipment, municipal buildings, schools, and hospital renovations needed to meet life/safety codes.
