Program Name: Business and Industry Loans

 
Purpose: To assist public, private or cooperative organizations (profit or non profit), indian tribes, or individuals in rural areas to obtain quality loans for the purpose of improving, developing, or financing business, industry, and employment, and improving the economic and environmental climate in rural areas through pollution abatement and control.

 
Eligible Applicants: Cooperatives, corporations, partnerships, trusts or other legal entity organized on a profit or non profit basis; indian tribes; municipalities; or individuals in rural areas.

 
Eligible Activites: Loans to manufacturing, retail, wholesale and service businesses including agribusiness, and media businesses. Loans for expansimachinery and equipment, working capital.on,
