Program Name: Brownfields Economic Development Initiative Alternate Name: Brownfields

 
Purpose: Redevelopment of contaminated industrial or commercial sites, including site clean-up expenses, to stimulate local economic development and private investment in the area.

 
Eligible Applicants: Municipalities: Cities, Villages, Towns, Counties

 
Eligible Activites:  Site remediation, acquisition and resale of brownfield sites for redevelopment with purchase possible purchase price write down
