Purpose:
Grants
will be awarded in three categories:

Pantry
Programs: This grant category will support programs that provide groceries
through either pick-up or delivery to persons with HIV/AIDS and their dependents.

Congregate
Meal Programs: This category will support programs providing on-site meals
for persons with HIV/AIDS and their dependents.

Home Delivered
Meals: This category will support the preparation and delivery of hot and/or
frozen meals to persons with HIV/AIDS and their dependents.

Eligible
Activites: Grant awards will be up to $50,000 (in multiples of $500)
to fund:

food;
-
kitchen/food
handling equipment;
-
transportation/distribution
equipment;
-
salaries
essential for the direct provision of meal/nutrition services; and/or
-
other
reasonable program costs (for which a clear statement of need is presented.)
