The Affordable Housing and
Community Development Conference is one of the nation's largest meetings
of rural housing and community development professionals and the only meeting
of its kind in New York State. Throughout its 20-year history, the conference
has offered training to nonprofit, for-profit, and public organizations
on affordable housing issues, state and federal regulations, resources
and technologies.
The Annual Affordable Housing
& Community Development Conference is one of the best training programs
available on the ever-changing issues, regulations, resources, and technologies
impacting the creation of affordable housing. The workshops provide comprehensive
training with details on a full range of technical information that rural
housing and community development professionals need.
Each
Year...
The Annual Affordable Housing
and Community Development Conference is perhaps one of the best examples
of the Coalition's competence in delivering training and technical assistance
on a grand scale. The Conference is one of the nation's largest statewide
meeting of rural housing and community development professionals, particularly
those from nonprofit organizations. It provides a source of up-to-date
information, training by nationally know experts, networking and partnership-building
opportunities. Workshops, clinics, and special resource rooms offer on
a wide range of topics to serve the needs of for-profit, non-profit and
public sector organizations.
Affordable housing resource
materials and programs information can be collected at the Conference's
Resource Room; software demonstrations and technical help on a variety
of computer software can be obtained by visiting the Software Demonstration
Room; and filled with housing and community development information, the
Conference Exhibit Area is open to attendees throughout the three-day event.
As in previous years, these conference extras add to the quality and impact
of more than 30 workshops, special sessions and clinics prepared for attendees.
Note: For information,
see 2005 Conference.
The conference is made possible
through the generous contributions of our Co-Sponsors, whose support and
work with our network helps to make affordable housing a reality in New
York State. The Coalition gratefully acknowledges their support.
